Do you take a cut of shop sales?

Zero percent. We never take a cut of what you sell. Your payment processor charges their standard rate — currently around 1.5% + 20p per transaction in the UK — but that's between you and them. Natterio takes nothing on top.

What happens if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Your subscription ends at the end of your current billing period — no pro-rata charges, no penalties. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation so you can export everything before it's removed.

Is the forum included in every plan?

The forum is available on Community (£14/mo) and Pro (£24/mo) plans. Free and Starter plans include the website builder, AI generation, and member sign-in — just not the discussion forum.

Can I take my site, members, and content elsewhere?

Yes, always. Export your full site — content, members, posts — at any time from your account settings. Everything is stored in standard formats. No export fees, no hoops to jump through. Your data is yours.

Is it really GDPR compliant? What do you handle vs what do I do?

Natterio handles the technical side: cookie consent, data export requests, safely deleting data with a short recovery window in case it was a mistake, and UK-hosted infrastructure. You're responsible for your content — making sure what you publish is lawful and that your own privacy policy accurately describes how you use member data. We provide a template to get you started.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on Starter plan and above (from £7/mo). You can use your own website address if you have one — connect it in a few steps and we'll walk you through it. Free plan sites run on a Natterio subdomain.

Who is behind Natterio?

Natterio is built and run by Seamstack Ltd, a UK company (company number 17308485), based in the UK. We're a small, bootstrapped team — no venture capital, no outside investors — building software for community groups because we think they deserve better than agency prices.

Can I move my existing website or Facebook group over?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paste your current website URL during sign-up and Natterio will automatically pull in your content to pre-fill your new site. For Facebook groups, you can import member lists manually. Either way, the AI will generate a polished site from whatever information you give it.

What does the AI actually do?

It designs your whole site: picks colours, fonts, and layout to suit what you've told it about your group or business, writes a first draft of your pages, and finds real photography to match. You end up with a genuinely finished-looking site, not a generic template with your name swapped in.

What if I don't like the design it makes?

You can ask the AI to redesign it — every plan includes a number of AI regenerations, with more on higher tiers — or open the visual editor and change anything by hand: colours, text, images, layout. Nothing it makes is locked in; think of it as a strong first draft, not a final answer.

No. If you can answer a few questions and click around a page, you can run a Natterio site. There's no code to write, nothing to host yourself, and no jargon in the editor — just plain settings and a live preview of whatever you're changing.

Most people have a working site in under 10 minutes. Answer a few questions, let the AI build a first version, then tweak anything you like in the visual editor. Connecting a custom domain typically adds another 30–60 minutes depending on your registrar.
